In order for the stitching to be of high quality when sewing on a foot machine, and the machine itself works without problems, it is necessary to learn how to fill it correctly. The foot sewing machine will be capricious, giving out a bad line if the thread is not threaded in it correctly.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare your foot sewing machine for work. When threading the thread on a machine that moves from the foot, be extremely careful. Take your foot off the pedal of the sewing machine: accidentally pressing the pedal can injure the hands while threading. Move the needle to its highest position by moving the handwheel. Raise the presser foot with the lift lever. Place the spool pin in the corresponding hole.

Step 2

Prepare the threads of the color you need by choosing the correct numbers. Please note that the bobbin thread must be taken one size smaller than the upper thread. Place the spool of thread on the spool pin. Pull the thread to see if it unwinds easily. If the thread unwinds poorly from the spool, it may break.

Step 3

From the spool, pull the thread towards the thread guide, then pass it between the tension washers. You can find out if the thread has passed through the washers correctly by clicking, which will be heard in this case. Next, pull the thread to the thread guide spring and hook, after which it should fall into the thread take-up lever. Thread the thread through the thread guide on the needle bar. Thread the needle.

Step 4

Pull the thread to either side to check if it snags anywhere. Burrs from poorly sanded parts can cut the thread. Do not pull on the threaded thread too much; the needle may break.

Step 5

Thread the bobbin thread. Remove the bobbin cap by sliding the plate out. It can be easily removed from the hook by pulling on the latch. Insert the bobbin and thread into the cap. Pass the thread through the slit and the slit spring on the bobbin case. Leave a small end of the thread free. Place the bobbin case on the hook pin as far as it will go. A slight click will signal that the cap is properly seated. Correct installation of the bobbin case will be accompanied by slight cushioning.

Step 6

Pull the bobbin thread up. To do this, lower the needle to its lowest position while holding the upper thread slightly. When the needle is raised, the bobbin thread will be at the top in the form of a loop. Pass both threads under the foot. The sewing machine is loaded.
