Competent and correct design of the drawings is required for the convenience of viewing and reading them. Any project must be drawn in accordance with the requirements that are set out in a unified system for design documentation. The frame for the drawing can be downloaded ready-made on the Internet, if possible, or you can draw it yourself.

Necessary

  • - paper;
  • - pencils of different hardness;
  • - ruler;
  • - computer.

Instructions

Step 1

Determine the format in which you plan to carry out the drawing. As a rule, A4, A3, A2 and A1 formats are used in drawing, engineering graphics or in factories. There are also non-standard formats, in particular A4x3, with a size equal to three A4 formats, which are arranged vertically.

Step 2

Place the sheet horizontally, i.e. in a landscape arrangement. If the frame needs to be made on an A4 sheet, then place it vertically.

Step 3

Draw the borders of the frame with a pencil. To do this correctly, step back from the left edge of the sheet 20 mm, from the right, top, bottom 5 mm, draw four lines according to these indents. Draw the main lines of the frame with solid lines. In some places, the thickness of the lines of the frame will be slightly greater than the thickness of the lines in the main drawing. If you draw the frame using a computer, set the line thickness programmatically. In this case, the lines of the frame will be displayed in the selected color.

Step 4

When drawing the frame, using pencil and paper, make the right choice of pencil. For the drawing, take several pencils with different hardness. A line drawn with a very soft pencil will look bright, but it will smudge easily when touched. A pencil with a very hard lead will cut the paper. Therefore, choose the middle ground - a pencil with a soft or hard-soft lead. The letters M and TM (soft or hard-soft) are written on domestically produced pencils, and the letters B and HB will be on imported counterparts, respectively. Also, take care of the correct sharpening of the pencil.

Step 5

Draw a basic stamp. It looks like a small table in the lower corner on the right side of the sheet. The dimensions of the main inscription should be 185x55 mm and consist of several columns with signatures. When drawing, be guided by GOST 2.104-68, which indicates the exact dimensions of each of the columns.

Step 6

Draw several additional graphs to the drawing of the frame. Place one of them in the upper left corner of the sheet. This column duplicates the designation of the document, which is indicated in the title block and rotated 180 °. The dimensions of this column are 70x14 mm. Along the left side of the sheet, draw the columns that the technical documentation department will fill out.

Step 7

Fill in the title block with the information you know about the project. This can be: the designation of the document, the name of the product, the number of sheets, the scale, the name of the developer, the inspector, etc. All these inscriptions should be performed in a drawing font in accordance with GOST 2.304-81. If you are drawing a frame on a computer, then change the font in the program menu.
