In order for your roller skates to serve you for a long time, and not just one season, you need to take proper care of them. Regular maintenance and cleaning of the rollers will increase their lifespan. But not everyone knows how to properly clean the rollers, and therefore many make mistakes, as a result of which roller skates quickly deteriorate.

Necessary

  • - rollers;
  • - small capacity;
  • - syringe;
  • - grease;
  • - gasoline
  • - dry cloth.

Instructions

Step 1

Wipe your inline skates with a cloth every time you finish skating. Bearings are the most demanding and most demanding roller parts. Do not let moisture get on them. Wipe the bearings with a dry cloth or tissue. To remove dust and sand from hard-to-reach places, spin the casters slightly or clean them with a vacuum cleaner.

Step 2

If water gets into the bearings, inject a special water pusher into them. This solution can be purchased at many stores.

Step 3

If the bearings are clogged with dirt, carefully flush them with gasoline. To do this, remove the bearings from the roller skates wheels, remove the old grease and disassemble the bearings. If they are not collapsible, remove the boot and grease from them. Rinse the bearings - to do this, put them in a jar of gasoline and drag them with a wooden stick along the bottom for about five minutes. The stick must be made of wood. Attention: flush one bearing at a time, not all at once. After each bearing, thoroughly wipe and dry, re-lubricate with new grease and insert into the wheel. Be careful: the bearing must be inserted inward with the open side.

Step 4

Do not forget to regularly lubricate the bearings with special grease or, in extreme cases, with ordinary machine oil. To make them easier to lubricate, inject grease into the bearing with a syringe. Lubrication frequency is directly related to the quality of the lubricant and, of course, how often you ride.

Step 5

Clean your inline skate boots after each ride. To do this, use a regular shoe brush or a simple napkin. But never put shoe cream on them.
