When looking at a modern airliner, it is difficult to imagine how much effort it took for designers, engineers and workers to create such a complex and perfect technical system. Building an airplane is a lengthy process. It can take more than one year from the moment the idea of a specific model was born to its launch into mass production.

Instructions

Step 1

The process of creating an aircraft includes a number of interrelated stages. This includes the development of the project, the creation of a sketch and a model of the aircraft. Then the detailed design work begins. This is followed by the construction and flight tests of a prototype, after which the aircraft is certified and transferred to mass production.

Step 2

The first stage in the creation of an aircraft is the design and development of the structure of the future aircraft. This work is carried out in experimental design bureaus, where special laboratories and production units operate. Airplane design involves a wide variety of research, graphics and computation.

Step 3

The stage of creating working documentation is very important, when drawings and whole packages of documents are developed, without which the direct assembly of the aircraft is impossible. Based on the results of such work, carried out using the most modern computer technologies, a digital version of the technical documentation and a 3D model of the aircraft are being created.

Step 4

The stage of direct assembly of the aircraft is carried out in a specially equipped hangar. It is a series of technological operations for the installation of individual structural parts in the position specified by the drawing, as well as the combination of parts into units and assemblies. Technicians and workers, under the guidance of engineers, install the onboard systems of the aircraft, lay communications, interconnect the elements of the aircraft body.

Step 5

The assembly takes place in a strictly defined sequence. First, assemblies and panels of the aircraft are mounted, then separate assemblies and compartments are assembled from them. At the final stage of assembly, there is a general adjustment of mechanisms, testing and testing of all aircraft systems. During the installation, a field-proven parallel-sequential operation scheme is used, taking into account the requirements specified in the technical documentation.

Step 6

At the final stage of the aircraft creation, processing of technological connections, finishing of mating surfaces, heat treatment of individual units and sealing of joints takes place. At this stage, it is important not to miss the little things, each of which directly affects the future flight properties of the aircraft and the safety of its operation. After the completion of the assembly, the aircraft acquires its usual contours and features. He is now ready for flight tests.
