Moscow parks are a favorite resting place for many citizens and guests of the capital. They provide an opportunity to be in nature, to get away from the hustle and bustle of a huge city. Along with the usual set of entertainment, in the summer and fall of 2012 they will have a lot of new things.

In some parks of the capital (Izmailovsky, Sokolniki, the Hermitage garden), coworking spaces will be arranged, that is, places for remote work equipped with benches and a free wi-fi zone. They will be useful for freelancers, as well as novice businessmen who do not yet have the opportunity to rent even a modest office.

In early autumn, it is planned to open two observatories in Gorky Park and Sokolniki. They were very popular during the Soviet era, and after the collapse of the USSR they fell into decay due to the cessation of funding. Now about 20 million rubles will be spent on their restoration and equipment. It is planned that in the restored building of the observatory in Sokolniki not only observations will be carried out, but also a club of young astronomy lovers called "The Stargazer" will operate. The main instrument of the observatory is a reflector telescope with a main mirror with a diameter of 40 centimeters.

Also in Sokolniki Park at the end of July they plan to open a new beach, located on the site of the old Dolphin pool. It will be equipped with two swimming pools. This beach is an entertainment complex where, in addition to water procedures, various variety events will take place. The entrance to its territory will be paid (1000 rubles). The beach will function until September 30, and then an ice rink or ice slides can be arranged on its territory in winter. Parking is provided for visitors; inside the complex, payment for services will be made using special cards.

The administration of the park is confident that the entertainment complex "Beach" will be very popular among Muscovites. As for the paid entrance, the administration indicates that the ticket price of 1000 rubles is much lower than for some similar complexes in Moscow (for example, in Gorky Park or on the territory of the Water Stadium).
