Modern Aiko safes are reliable, burglar-proof and tamper-proof. Depending on the specific model, such a safe can be designed to store valuable things, money, service documentation, as well as smooth-bore and rifled hunting weapons. As a high-tech device, the Aiko safe requires respect for the locking device and compliance with the rules of its use.
Instructions
Step 1
Before using the safe, read the instructions for its use. Check the presence of batteries in the battery compartment. Usually, four batteries with a voltage of 1.5 V are used to operate an electronic device. If necessary, install serviceable batteries.
Step 2
Turn the key clockwise. Press the "*" symbol and wait until the display shows "Code" or "Open". Initially, the factory code "7-7-7-7" or "1-2-3-4" is usually set on the safe, which is indicated in the documentation for the safe. Dial the appropriate code on the keypad.
Step 3
Press the “#” symbol, and then the display will show “Good”. Turn the safe handle up and open the door.
Step 4
For further safe operation of the safe, program your personal code, which is different from the factory one. To do this, press the "M" button on the inside of the door. Enter your personal new code and press the "#" symbol, for example: 7498 #. Please note that the code can be at least two and at most eight characters long.
Step 5
If you make a mistake while programming the code, repeat the entire procedure, starting with pressing the "M" button. If the code is entered correctly, you will see “Good” on the display, otherwise “Error” will be displayed, and an error signal will also sound.
Step 6
Check the code only with the safe door open. After entering the wrong code three times, the display goes out, and the locking device will be locked for a few minutes. At the same time, any pressing of the lock buttons during blocking only increases the waiting time.
Step 7
To lock an open safe, slam its door. Then insert the key and turn it counterclockwise.
