The Microsoft Windows operating system snap-in refers to the minimal management component included in the Microsoft Management Console. Rigs are subdivided into standalone and expanding ones. The snap-in manager is the Snap-in Manager tool.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to open the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system and go to the "Run" item to launch the selected snap-in.
Step 2
Enter the value "rig_name.msc" (without quotes) in the "Open" field and click OK to confirm the execution of the run command.
Step 3
Use the gpedit.msc value to invoke the Group Policy snap-in and click OK to confirm the run command.
Step 4
Expand the "User Configuration" item and go to the "Administrative Templates" item to perform the operation of defining access settings for other snap-ins.

Select Windows Components and select Microsoft Management Console.

Select Windows Components and select Microsoft Management Console.

Enter the value secpol.msc in the Open field and confirm the launch of the Local Security Settings snap-in by clicking OK to complete the procedure for editing the password policy, access rights, and user accounts.

Specify perfmon.msc on the Open line and click OK to confirm that the System Performance snap-in runs to determine CPU and hard drive utilization, used memory and cache sizes, and other baseline system settings.

Use the lusrmgr.msc value in the Open field and click OK to confirm the launch of the Local Users and Groups snap-in, which allows you to create new and edit existing user groups, or enter the devmgmt.msc value to invoke the Device Manager snap-in, which provides the ability to control most of the devices on your computer and click OK to confirm the start.
