Step 1

Download and install the Audacity program on your computer from the official resource audacity.sourceforge.net/download/. Follow all the instructions that will be given to you during the installation. Make a shortcut on your desktop. Then run it on your computer.

Step 2

Keep the mouse well away from the microphone. Please be aware that mouse clicks may jump to the track during voice recording. Try to work her in the process as quietly as possible.

Step 3

Connect the headset to the connectors of the system unit. Headphones plug in green and microphone plug in pink (red). Of course, you can get by with a simple built-in microphone, but the sound is unlikely to be of suitable quality. So use the wired option. Then select the "Microphone" icon in the drop-down menu of the Audacity program. Set the slider to the left of this function in the middle. Step 4

Click on the "Record" button. It is usually presented as a red round in the top bar of Audacity. Wait 2-3 seconds before speaking into the microphone. Say any tongue twister and stop recording by clicking on the "Stop" button (brown square). Save an entry called "Test" on your desktop. Then listen to what happened. Once you're happy with the sound, start recording your keynote speech. Proceed in the same way as when creating a test recording.

Step 5

Change the pitch, tempo, by clicking in the top line "Effects". You can also get rid of clicks, crackles, noises using this section. Save the resulting recording in wav or mp3 format using the "File" and "Save As" function. Give a title to the track.
