In some cafes, visitors are greeted by an unusual installation in the form of a bottle nailed to the wall. The cafe staff will not tell you the secret of creating such a souvenir. It can be made in two ways, but none of them can guarantee the result.

Instructions

Step 1

Regardless of how you are going to punch the bottle, get gloves first. They must be special protective designed for working with a power tool. Ordinary gloves used as garments will not work, as are rubber gloves used by electricians and chemists. Do not remove gloves during the entire operation.

Step 2

In order to pierce the bottle in the first way, fill an old unnecessary bathtub with water, in which no one washes. Then immerse the bottle in the bath with the neck up and wait for the air to come out.

Step 3

Lay an unnecessary towel rolled up in several layers on the bottom of the bathtub, which you do not mind ruining. Place the bottle horizontally on this towel, then gently hammer a nail into its side with a regular hammer.

Step 4

If you are going to hang the bottle on the wall, pull the nail out of it, then drive it in from the opposite side exactly opposite the previous hole, and then pull it out again. After pulling the bottle out of the tub, pour the water out of it, and then insert a long, thinner nail into the hole, using which to gently nail it to the wall. If it is drywall, use a long self-tapping screw, and pre-install the dowel in the wall.

Step 5

To get a hole in the bottle using the second method, take an unnecessary triangular file of a small section and break it in half. Without removing the sticker from the bottle, slowly rotate the file with your hands (do not use a power tool) with the sharp edge formed as a result of the chip, drill a hole through the sticker. Glue a sheet of paper on the back of the bottle, and when the glue dries, get a hole in the same way on the back.

Step 6

Rinse the sticker and the newly pasted paper off the bottle with warm water. Hang the finished product on the wall using the method described in step 4.
