Step 1

Conduct an inventory of production waste if you: - produce waste; - own or dispose of waste; - collect and transport waste; - recycle waste. You can independently make an inventory of production waste or involve an organization carrying out such activities

Step 2

Issue a decree on the inventory of waste. In it, indicate the objects of inventory (technological processes or structural units), forms of documentation (primary and final acts of waste inventory), exact deadlines, the period of data processing. Indicate the persons involved or appoint a special commission responsible for the inventory of production waste.

Step 3

Study information about the enterprise, its technological features, documentation on accounting and waste movement, accounting. The information considered will depend on the characteristics of the enterprise.

Step 4

Take an inventory of the waste by examining the source of its generation. Determine the physical and chemical composition of the waste, find out their compliance with the norms and limits. Draw up the primary act of waste inventory

Step 5

Include in the primary act of the inventory the data on the accounting of waste at their receipt or at the places of generation. If we are talking about a large enterprise in which waste is generated at several production sites, then it will be correct to keep an independent record at each of them. In the case of the formation of waste of different names, it is advisable to keep records of separate types.

Step 6

Make sure that the waste inventory statement is signed by the members of the commission leading the waste inventory and / or approved by the head. Draw up the final waste inventory statement. List the studies performed, summarize the results of the inventory, calculate the annual waste standard.
