States with economies of any type have internal law enforcement agencies. Capitalist countries are no exception in this regard. The police in Russia are an integral part of the Ministry of the Interior. It is designed to protect the rights and freedoms, as well as the life and health of all citizens and visitors. This structure must effectively fight crime, monitor public safety. In a word, to create all favorable conditions for the prosperity of the nation. In a market economy it is impossible to do without such a law enforcement agency as the police. It is the police who must guard the governing principles of the market. The main form of ownership under capitalism is private property, which this structure should protect. In addition, the task of the police is to protect the property of the state. This includes administrative buildings, cultural sites, airports, train stations, metro stations, etc. Without a police structure, a rampant crime in the sphere of economic relations will begin. Individuals and legal entities will no longer replenish the state budget with taxes. Pricing will cease to be based on the interaction of market supply and demand, in other words, unpunished antitrust violations will spread everywhere. The legality of entrepreneurial activity and contractual relations between business entities and individuals will get out of control. Foreign economic activity will also cease to be controlled, which will negatively affect the life of the population. All this in a short time will lead the country to an economic crisis. Power will lose all legitimacy, chaos and anarchy will begin. Thus, without the police, the market economy will cease to exist in the form in which it is now. Also, the function of the police is to suppress all crimes related to the circulation of drugs and other prohibited substances, weapons. Law enforcement agencies are fighting the shadow economy, corruption, illegal activities. In short, without the police, in a short time, colossal damage will be caused to the state economy, the welfare and health of the nation. Therefore, in any civilized state with a market economy or any other type, there should be effective law enforcement agencies, whose main task is to improve the life of the population and ensure constitutional and other legal human rights and freedoms.
