Since ancient times, stars on shoulder straps have been used as insignia of military ranks in the army. It is interesting that this is used not only in Russia, but also in many other countries (for example, in Georgia, Germany, France). Usually, the more stars on shoulder straps, the older the rank of their owner. However, one must consider not only the number, but also the size and arrangement of the stars. It is important to properly fix the stars on the shoulder straps.

Necessary

  • - shoulder straps;
  • - stars;
  • - ruler;
  • - awl.

Instructions

Step 1

Take epaulettes and stars. Usually, the star is not sewn to the shoulder strap, in the literal sense of the word, but is attached by piercing a hole in the required place on each pursuit. Use an awl to pierce the neat hole. After that, insert the star into the resulting hole and secure it well. To do this, secure the star firmly with special "paws". Make sure the star is securely in place and not wobbly.

Step 2

Please note that the distance between the stars is strictly regulated. On the shoulder straps of the junior lieutenant and the major, it is necessary to retreat 45 mm from the lower edge of the shoulder strap to the center of the first sprocket. On the shoulder straps of a lieutenant, senior lieutenant, captain, lieutenant colonel and colonel, the first star is attached at a distance of 30 mm from the lower edge.

Step 3

Attach the second and subsequent stars if necessary. At the same time, keep in mind that the distance between the centers of the stars along the shoulder straps for senior lieutenants, captains and colonels is 25 mm.

Step 4

Watch out for the required number of stars on each chase. So, on the shoulder straps of the junior lieutenant there is only 1 star, the lieutenant has 2 stars, the senior lieutenant has 3, and the captain's shoulder straps are decorated with 4 stars at once. Larger stars are attached to the shoulder straps of the major, lieutenant colonel and colonel. Their number increases according to their rank and amounts to one, two and three stars.
