By the way, you can return and exchange an item even if you bought it in an online store. There may only arise questions about the payment of the courier's work. But this is a special case, which each store solves in its own way.

Step 1
If the item (non-food item) purchased in the store does not suit you for any reason, hand it back to the store. On your side is the Federal Law on Consumer Rights No. 212, where, according to article 25, you can exchange goods of proper quality. To do this, you need to contact the store within two weeks from the date of purchase. At the same time, the thing itself must be of a presentation: the tags and tags, packaging must be preserved, there must be no traces of using this thing. Keep your receipt as well, and if you lose it, bring someone with you who can verify the purchase.
Step 2
If the seller has no complaints about the returned product, you will be refunded the cost of the item. If you want to exchange an item for a similar value, for example, a different size or color, you still have to return the item first. And then re-register the purchase. Just do not forget your passport, without which it is impossible to return the goods.
Step 3
But the Law protects the rights of not only the buyer, but also the seller. Not every item can be returned and exchanged. For example, after buying a car, household appliances, furniture, and technically complex goods, it is very difficult to return them to the store. They are covered by a warranty period in which you can apply for a free repair. You cannot exchange and return medicines, personal hygiene items, perfumes and cosmetics, underwear, socks and tights. If you have good reason to believe that the defective equipment was originally sold to you, you can order an independent examination. If her conclusions coincide with yours, the seller will be obliged to take the goods back, return the money to you, including for paying for the services of experts.
Step 4
If you want to exchange a thing in good condition after use for any similar product or something else, use the resources where new and used things are sold and changed. For example, the child is left with a stroller, which makes no sense to sell - it is inexpensive, but you can change it, for example, for packaging new diapers. There you can also exchange new things that cannot be returned to the store, but can be exchanged for a similar product of a suitable size, color, etc.
