Forest fires occur for a number of reasons. The most common of these is the activities of a person who does not comply with the basic fire safety measures in the forest. The main part of all fires, experts say, occurs as a result of the burning of grass, debris, and fires on agricultural land. In clear weather, a fire can be triggered by ordinary glass, which has been hit by a sunbeam. In the forest, such "goodness" often remains after various picnics and walks. The most common cause of fire is thrown matches and cigarette butts, rags and rags soaked in flammable, flammable materials. Hunting enthusiasts can also cause damage to forest lands: a wad that flew out of a gun, aphid, sets fire to dry grass.

Forest fires are often caused by a fire that has not been extinguished and from a spark carried by the wind. The fire spreads especially quickly along the dry forest floor, burning out undergrowth and dead wood. Such fires are called grass-roots fires, they constitute the bulk of all fires. The danger of such fires lies in the fact that they are difficult to localize, however, like horse fires, which spread very quickly along the crowns of trees.

Statistics show that most forest fires are recorded precisely on weekends, when the population is drawn to nature. But often such a vacation ends sadly for green spaces. Therefore, in many regions, especially where there is a great threat of forest fires, an emergency regime is introduced and a ban on visiting forests is introduced. In this case, informing the population is carried out through the media and the establishment of prohibition signs at the entrance to forest zones.

But not always people are the cause of forest fires. Often, the fire occurs independently from the smoldering of trees and grass. At high air temperatures, spontaneous combustion of litter and peat bogs is possible, which have the ability to burn even underground and in water.

Natural phenomena - lightning, high air temperatures, strong winds - can also provoke a fire. In this case, it remains only to try to eliminate the fire source yourself, if it is small, or call rescuers if the scale of the fire is large.
