Socialization of a person is a process of self-realization, as it allows each person not only to gain experience and useful skills, but also to realize himself and find his place in society. Understanding the basis of socialization and self-realization, as a transformative action, will help to better understand this process.

Basics of socialization

Socialization of a person is the process of folding the main parameters of a person's personality on the basis of education, training and assimilation of social roles. It is through socialization that the self-realization of the individual takes place, that is, the inheritance and transformation of social experience by him and its transformation into personal attitudes, abilities and skills.

The basis of the process of socialization is the active transformative activity of a person, which helps him to join social life, master the methods of practical activity, and form social ties. In essence, socialization is the self-realization of the individual in the process of his activity. Hence, we can conclude that the success of socialization depends on the active participation of the individual in the creative transformation process. Since the socialization of a person covers the entire period of a person's life, it turns out that self-realization also always continues. Even if a person does not want to change or participate in anything, he still realizes himself to some extent. However, each person does this to a different extent, which is due to upbringing, culture and personal characteristics.

Self-realization as a transformative action

Self-realization, which is part of socialization, can be called a person's need, which helps him transform his personality. A person must find his place in society and life, express himself in the world in the most vivid way and feel satisfaction from reality. This desire encourages the individual to develop their abilities and use them for the benefit of others, thereby showing their strengths.

Thus, socialization helps an individual to realize himself, using the norms and trends accepted in society. Becoming a part of society, a person begins to understand his moral standards and preferences, which allows him to use this information for his own purposes. This helps to select the most appropriate tactics of behavior, which will be noted by other personalities. However, self-realization can be more hidden. Socialization of a person can reveal his tendency to a more peaceful existence, while the search for his place for a person does not lie in success in the eyes of others, but in a comfortable feeling of himself. All this gives reason to believe that the socialization of a person is a process of self-realization, which helps a person to feel himself most comfortable in society.
