In coniferous and mixed forests on moist soil, the raven eye plant is found. Its fruits ripen in July-August; this berry is often mistaken for blueberries or blueberries. The raven eye looks like this: on a straight stem 15-30 cm high, there are four wide leaves, arranged crosswise. In the center, there is one blue-black berry, which has an unpleasant odor; not only the fruit is poisonous, but also the leaves and roots of the plant.

A very common plant such as wolfberry or bast (as the fruits of common honeysuckle are called), they also ripen in the second half of summer. Grows in small bushes, without forming thickets, always at a distance from each other. The berries are red, oblong in shape, cling directly to the branch, like sea buckthorn berries. The fruits of the wolf bast are not edible for humans, but birds are happy to eat them.

On the banks of rivers, in shady places, there is a black nightshade (black or green fruits) and bittersweet nightshades (red fruits). The stem of the nightshade is recumbent or curly, the leaves are pointed, spear-shaped, with an unpleasant odor. The nightshade berries are egg-shaped, juicy but bitter. They are widely used in folk medicine, despite the presence of solanine poison in them.

The fruits of belladonna or belladonna are also dangerous. This is a plant with a thick, succulent stem, up to 2 meters high, the upper part is pubescent and has a purple tint. Belladonna berries are purple-black, juicy, shiny - it can be easily confused with cherries.

Often in shaded areas such a poisonous plant as lily of the valley is found. All parts of the plant are dangerous - large leaves, roots, stems, flowers, berries. Fruits are red-orange in color and grow in several pieces per stem.

There are a lot of poisonous plants in the forests, and it is impossible to remember everything. Therefore, do not touch unfamiliar berries and teach children to be wary of them. If, nevertheless, poisoning occurs, immediately rinse the victim's stomach and send him to the hospital.
