Pomegranate is a short tree, or shrub, native to North Africa and Central Asia. Of course, the pomegranate is better known as a fruit, rather than an ornamental plant. Nevertheless, as a decorative quality, pomegranates are well known to fans of bonsai cultivation.

Instructions
Step 1
Fresh pomegranate seeds are notable for good germination. For the seeds, take a ripe store-bought pomegranate fruit. Seeds from a ripe indoor pomegranate fruit are also suitable. Remove the seeds from the juicy pulp and rinse in water. Some experts advise disinfecting seeds in a weak solution of potassium permanganate.
Step 2
Before sowing, you can soak the seeds for a day in a solution of "Epina-extra" at the rate of three drops of the drug in half a glass of water.
Step 3
Sowing pomegranate seeds is recommended in late autumn or spring. For sowing, prepare a container with a soil mixture prepared from one part turf and one part washed river sand.
Step 4
Moisten the soil, sow seeds into it to a depth of no more than a centimeter from the surface. Cover the container with glass or plastic wrap and place in a place with an air temperature of at least twenty and no higher than twenty-five degrees. Keep the soil moist by pouring warm water over it.
Step 5
Under favorable conditions, the first shoots can appear as early as two weeks after sowing. As soon as two true leaves appear, the seedlings should be dived one at a time into small pots with a drainage layer at the bottom and a potting mix prepared from a piece of humus soil, two parts of sod land, two parts of leafy soil and two parts of sand.
Step 6
To dive seedlings, carefully remove them from the container in which the seeds germinated. Shorten the roots one third of the length. Use your finger or a dive peg to make a hole in the ground and lower the seedling into it so that the roots do not bend. Press down on the roots with soil by sticking a dive peg to the side of the hole.
Step 7
After a couple of months, transplant the plant into a pot two centimeters larger than the previous one. When replanting, use the same potting mix and do not damage the earth ball.
