From time immemorial, man has learned to make fire. Its benefits are obvious, but we must not forget about the terrible consequences of fires, which annually claim thousands of lives. Most of the tragic incidents could have been avoided by observing basic fire safety rules.

Install smoke detectors in the rooms and back rooms of your home. Check their performance regularly and replace the batteries in a timely manner. Do not use high power electrical appliances at the same time. Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords. Be careful when working with heating devices and flammable materials. Remember that the kitchen is the most fire hazardous area in your home. When cooking food on a fire, be careful about it so that the draft does not extinguish the stove flame.

Keep the wires of household electrical appliances in order, exclude possible contact with pets. Observe the distance between the heating elements and the walls of the house. Do not dry things using devices that are not intended for this purpose.
