Having finished working with paper documents, you may find that there are traces of a ballpoint pen or stamp ink on your hands. To get rid of ink stains, there are a number of products available, including soap, hand brush, pumice stone, wet wipes, and finger-wetting gel.

Step 1
The choice of means with which you can wash ink stains off your hands is quite wide. To remove traces of water-soluble ink, apply a small amount of soap to the hand brush and rub over your skin. Rinse off the lather with warm water and dry your hands with a towel.
Step 2
You can use a piece of pumice stone instead of a brush. This tool is more comfortable to use on the inside of the palm. If ink gets on the hardened areas of the skin, steam your hands by placing them in a container of warm water for ten to fifteen minutes. Rub the pumice stone over the ink stain.
Step 3
A good result can be achieved by using fresh lemon or tomato juice. Cut open a tomato or lemon and squeeze a small amount of juice onto a cotton ball. Wipe the skin where ink gets on it. Rinse off remaining juice with water.
Step 4
To remove traces of alcohol-soluble ink, as you might guess, a cotton or gauze swab moistened with alcohol is suitable.
Step 5
After removing ink with a brush, pumice stone, juice, or rubbing alcohol, apply hand cream to your hands. This will help you get rid of the discomfort caused by dry skin.
Step 6
If you get your hands dirty while in the office, you may find that squeezing lemons or steaming your skin in a bath may not be very convenient. In this case, the finger wetting gel, which is used when working with a large number of paper documents, will help to solve the problem. Run a dry paper towel several times over the surface of the gel and wipe the contaminated area of the skin with this cloth. Use a clean cloth or paper to wipe off any remaining gel from your hands.
Step 7
In environments where home hand cleaners are not available, a damp antibacterial school wipe can help wipe away ink marks. Open the package and wipe the stains with a tissue. Once you've removed any dirty marks, close the package tightly to prevent the tissues from drying out before you need them the next time.
